Roman Private Law (especially Classical Roman Private Law), History of Roman Law, Reception of Roman Law, especially in Baltic Provinces of the Russian Empire in 19th century, Abolition of Serfdom, Human Rights in Estonian Republic in 1918–1940, Ethnology of Law, Legal Analysis and Argumentation.
