1971 – MA in Classics, Department of Classical Philology at St. “Kliment Ohridski” University in Sofia.

1981 – MA in law, Faculty of law at St. “Kliment Ohridski”, University in Sofia.

1987 –  PhD, Doctoral Thesis: “The notion of agreement and its terminological expression in the Roman Literature - III BC - III AC.

2000 - Habilitation at St. “Kliment Ohridski” University in Sofia, Department of Classical Philology. Habilitation work: “Cicero’s Res publica”.

 

Professional experience:

Professor and Researcher in Latin Morphology, Juridical Latin and Roman Law at Department of Classical Philology, St. “Kliment Ohridski” University in Sofia.

Professor in Juridical Latin and Roman Law at Varna Free UniversityChernorizets Hrabar”, Faculty of Juridical sciences and social security.

Teaching experience includes lectures in Latin and institutional culture in Antiquity, Latin legal terms, the law in Roman literature.

Research interests focus on the interdisciplinary area of classics and Roman law, linguistic culture, and translation from Latin.

Took part in research forums on Roman history and law (Rome, Moscow, Sofia, Fribourg, Praga).

Teaching experience includes lecture courses in Juridical Latin at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv and University of National and World Economy of Sofia.

Manager and participant in a variety of projects.
